Daniel & Bethany Robbins are long-time friends of Trinity and served for five years with our sister church, Christ Church Bellingham. The Robbins are living in Scotland while Daniel pursues a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology and New Testament studies to support long-term theological instruction to seminary students in Malawi. Upon finishing doctoral studies in 2021, the Robbins will relocate to Nkhoma, Malawi, where Daniel will join the faculty of the Presbyterian seminary to teach, develop courses, and help equip future leaders of the African church. Bethany will apply her counseling and doula training to invest in the counselors at ‘When the Saints,’ a ministry which provides counseling, care, and a safe home for Malawian girls who have experienced sexual abuse. Read below to hear about what life has looked like for them recently and ways to partner with them in prayer for their ministry and the work God is doing in Malawi.

In spite of staying home for the last 10 weeks, we still have lots to update you on! This includes a new blog post and video from friends in Nkhoma. Most of the neighbors we are spending time with are furry and can’t talk back (pics below!) So we’ve been writing, working, and praying.
In spite of the major economic crisis we are all in, and the many real challenges families and churches are facing, our support has been just as strong. We do not take this for granted. Despite bracing ourselves for a struggling support account, it never dipped. Thank you! Thank you to our supporters and supporting churches who have continued to give generously and faithfully. We are deeply blessed, and are so thankful for you and your steadfast belief in our work.
As we know this pandemic is affecting each of you in different ways, Daniel has begun praying for one supporting family or church each weekday. Please feel free to send through prayer requests. We would be happy to pray for them along with you.
We’d also love to see pics of your life. Here’s us and our “neighbors.”
