In light of COVID-19, all in-person ministries are suspended. Sunday worship will be livestreamed beginning at 10a. We continue to develop ways for us to maintain life together while apart. You can find those helpful resources and scheduled events here.
You're not lost!
Looking for Green Lake Presbyterian Church? That's us—Trinity Church Seattle—formerly known as Green Lake Presbyterian Church. We recently acquired the historic church building on the corner of NW 65th & 23rd Ave NW in Ballard. And having moved 2 miles west of Green Lake, we determined it was time to change our name.
Come join us at our new home!
Service Times: 10:00am (Livestream Only)
Welcome to Trinity KIDS!
The Children’s Ministry at Trinity Church Seattle! We love kids, and you’ll see a lot of them here at Trinity! It is important to us that your children are well cared for and happy in their first experiences at church.
Trinity Kids (At Home!) Resources
Beginning Sunday 3/22, we will be providing weekly Children’s Church lessons to work through with your children (ages 3-9) at home. These lessons come from the “Show Me Jesus” curriculum we have used at Trinity. This curriculum is gospel-centered and each lesson points to Christ. The unit we will be studying is called “Jesus is God,” and children will discover that Jesus’ many miracles were signs that point to him as God the Son, our Savior. Those lessons will be posted on this page.
Lessons will be posted Thursday afternoons, including:
- Video teaching of the Bible story families can watch at home
- Parent Page (PDF) explaining the lesson focus and Scripture memory, giving parents good Bible background to go further with their kids
- Coloring sheet and activities (PDF) that families can print and do together at home
Trinity Kids (At Church!)
Nursery: 3 – 36 mos.
We offer a nursery for children ages 3 through 36 months. We use a digital check-in system that allows you to safely and securely provide us with important information about your child. The nursery is located on the main floor, just inside the 23rd Ave NW Courtyard entrance to the church.
In the nursery your child will have time for free play with a variety of age-appropriate activities and toys to choose from. We believe that children should be taught the truths of Scripture from birth, so your child will also be given opportunities to hear about God’s loving faithfulness and the grace of Jesus Christ through stories, songs, and prayer.
Children’s Church: Ages 3 – 1st Grade
Children’s Church (CC) offers a structured teaching and response time during the sermon. Please register your child for CC prior to the beginning of the service using our digital check-in system. Check-in stations are located just inside the 23rd Ave NW Courtyard entrance to the church. We believe it is important for children to be a part of our worshiping community, therefore children will join you in worship until shortly before the sermon begins. When prompted, Children’s Church participants can be dropped off in their classroom on the 3rd Floor (follow signs) and they will be returned to the service before the Lord’s Supper. They’re also welcome to stay in the service.
We use a curriculum called Show Me Jesus from Great Commission Publications. Our mission throughout this learning hour is to connect the cross of Christ to every part of the Christian life. We want our children to be irreversibly captured by the gospel of Christ, to cultivate a lasting faith and love for Jesus, and to understand that at the heart of the Gospel is a loving relationship with Jesus Christ.
School of Discipleship:
We have Sunday nursery and classes offered simultaneously with adult classes, for children from birth – high school. Our programs run during the academic year and break during summer.
Each of our 8 classes during this “Sunday School” hour are consistently taught by the same teachers, giving us the chance to really get to know your child and his or her spiritual journey.
Older Elementary Children
Children in grades 2 and above remain in the worship service with their parents. A children’s bulletin is provided at the Trinity Kids table in the parlor (crayons are also provided).
