TCS Mercy & Service Opportunities
Blessing Bag Supplies Drive:
February 1 -28, 2020
During the month of February, we will gather supplies to fill Blessing Bags for our homeless neighbors. Bring items to the church and drop them off at the Connect Center between 2/1 and 2/28 and we will fill bags together on 2/29. Bags will include:
Chewy/Soft Breakfast Bars
Fruit or applesauce cups
Toothbrush & toothpaste
Soaps and Shampoos
Blessing Bags Packing Event:
February 29, 20209:30am-12:00pm @ TCS
We’ll pack Blessing Bags to bless our homeless neighbors with water, snacks, and hygiene items. Drop-in when you can to help pack bags and pray for our neighbors. We’ll create a supply to have on hand at the church building for Deacon use, and each family can take several bags home with them to offer to neighbors they encounter throughout the city.
Community Easter Egg Hunt
April 11, 2020
10AM at Salmon Bay Park
Invite your friends, families, and neighbors to this community wide event. Easter eggs will be scattered throughout the Northeast quadrant of the park for kids of all ages to collect. We’ll be there rain or shine!
Additionally, you can volunteer to help with set up (and hiding eggs!) from 8:30am-10am. For more information, contact Katie Ribera.
Sickle Cell Gospel Concert

Foster Caregiver Evening Out

We partner with the Foster Support Faith Alliance to support foster and adoptive families in our community. Volunteers for these “evenings out” will provide an evening of respite for foster parents and caregivers while creating a fun and safe atmosphere for kids to play for a few hours.More Info
Sacred Road Service Trip
July 11-18, 2020
TCS will send a team of 12 people to serve with Sacred Road Ministries on the Yakama Reservation. Sacred Road is one of our key partners and there are opportunities to serve with them throughout the year. Join the team, give a scholarship to a team member, or pray for this team as they prepare and serve!More Info
